Because Creative Global Relief (CGR) believes education and good nutritional health are two of the most important keys to the success of the next generation, CGR started a Child Sponsorship Program in 2011. Children who live in poverty are susceptible to believing their lives are not important. Sponsors are a vital part of helping children overcome the effects of hopelessness and poverty. The regular, monthly giving of a sponsor says to a child that someone believes his or her life has value and Jesus loves them.

For a gift of $30 a month, a child receives the basic necessities of life including food, clothing and personal hygiene items. The sponsor's support also pays for school tuition, uniforms, books and other school supplies. In Malawi, primary level education is free. However, there is a fee for attending secondary school. If a child completes primary school, they often need to leave school to work to help support their family. CGR encourages parents to allow their children to stay in school and provide the fees for them.

Through the CGR Child Sponsorship Program, our children’s lives are changed forever and their family’s future, for generations to come. Often the entire village is uplifted by the education of one child. Consider making a commitment to change a life, it may be your own.

“… Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Galatians 5:14 KJV

Changing lives here on earth and preparing souls for eternity.
